Who's behind Huur.Haus
Meet the founders: Shami Durrani, Jorien Kemerink, and Celine Malefijt. With extensive careers in design, we decided to unite our forces and create this unique space, crafting it with playfulness and charm.
Shami leads a capacious workshop within the same building complex, where he and his team produced the entire interior of huur.haus. The fruits of his labor extend to his bespoke furniture line, Sney.Haus, and personalised interiors for discerning clients. Meanwhile, Jorien and Celine, having co-piloted a spatial design venture for nearly a decade (2009-2018), left memorable marks across exhibition design, interiors, spatial storytelling, and set design. The alchemy among these three friends is exceptional. Their collaborative journey, spanning on-and-off collaborations since 2017, has resulted in many unforgettable projects. This new adventure emerges from a base of mutual trust and a tapestry woven with shared experiences.
A Space for Creativity
At Huur.Haus, we have designed and built everything by ourselves, in the historical heart of Culemborg's furniture industry: the former Gaasbeek & van Tiel factory. With our space we hope to inspire many creative projects to flourish. We offer a platform for Dutch-based makers and design companies to expose their works, creating an ever-transforming space

Meetings or Workshops
Step into our dedicated boardroom, thoughtfully designed to accommodate meetings and workshops. Furnished with a spacious table and 14 chairs, it provides a stylish environment for rewarding group discussions. Need audio-visual aids? The boardroom comes equipped with a presentation screen and/or projector. Coffee and tea are included. More extensive catering services are available upon request to ensure a seamless and productive meeting experience.
